The Backrooms is a survival horror game in which you explore different environments, corridors, levels, and pretty much anything else you can think of. The game is based on a legend that is widely shared on the Internet. Each room or level has its own unique group of dangerous monsters, entities, or both. To get through the maze without getting hurt, you will need to remember what each level is like.
In this upcoming game, players will be herded into a room for reasons that are not clear yet. The whole room is dominated by old wallpaper with a yellowish hue, a carpet with visible moisture, and fluorescent lighting. The goal for the player is to keep moving forward so that they can find the exit in the time allotted and win the game. Players have to be very careful as they move through the "maze beyond reality" because each room is made to look exactly the same and contains unidentified "things." Your nerves will be stressed out even more by the strange noises and laughter you hear. If "it" finds you, there's nowhere to hide, so your only option is to run as fast as you can.
