What blogs and books do you love to read?

Well, I can speak only about my own experience. You see, I read two kinds of blogs: those are about the topics I am interested in and those that are written by people I think are worth reading from. I like Reader’s Digest very much. The articles are crisp and does help to improve one’s vocabulary.

I’ve casually flipped through magazines like Cosmopolitan, Vogue, etc. but quickly lost interest because the articles were all written to cater to Western readers. I found very less that I could actually relate to. Even the fashion pages carried photographs of models in dresses that I would never even attempt to wear. The agony aunt section has people writing in their problems that I didn’t even know were problems at all. Apparently the word ‘problems’ mean different things to different cultures. The cookery section had recipes to casseroles and pies and guacamole… none of which I cook.
