What do you think about some cool wall wooden maps? I personally simply adore this one https://enjoythewood.com/. You see, I love to travel and maps are a main decorative feature of my home. This interactive world map is amazing and though it’s more time consuming to put on display than a typical picture, it’s so worth it. I received this map as a housewarming gift and I love it.

As far as inspiration, I usually check Pinterest, The Spruce and a variety of interior design sites to collect ideas. Once I have a general idea of what I want to accomplish, I start searching shopping sites to find the items to complete the design I have in mind. In addition, if you are crafty, there are tons of DIY sites to help building your own decor. I can do smaller projects, so I usually make a lot of my accent pieces myself to add some creative, unique flair to my rooms. I like to quilt so I usually use a variety of quilted materials to accent my rooms, but again will depend what you are aiming to accomplish with your creative design.
